Farmerās Markets are starting back up again, Clarksville had their first of the season last year and we also learned the Maple Lawn market was no more. Hereās an updated list of the weekend farmerās markets in Howard County.
š¶ This weekend at Clarksville Farmerās Market (9am to 1pm), there will be an adoption event held by Knine Rescue Inc from 10am to 1pm on the grassy circle. Also, might be a good place to find a last minute Motherās Day gift⦠but donāt get her a puppy! š

MD Natural Resources: New Day Pass Reservation System
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has launched a new Day-Use Reservation System starting May 19th, you will need to reserve day-use passes ahead of time for popular parks during peak times. It will start with Greenbrier State Park and Sandy Point State Park, to expand to others in the future. There will be no same day drive-up access - hereās the announcement.
Six Flags Closing after 2025 Season
The MoCoShow has learned that Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor will be closing after this season. The property will be redeveloped and not replaced by another theme park.

Todayās Catch in Wilde Lake has closed after nearly 50 years in business!
Walrus Oyster and Ale House in Columbia has joined its brethren Chicken + Whiskey and Bennieās and is now āpermanently closed.ā There is still a location in the National Harbor but apparently, Columbia employees were given no heads up of its closure. ā¹ļø
