Good morning neighbor!
🪖 This weekend in Washington D.C. will be very busy with a military parade and associated events celebrating the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. Here’s a full schedule of events.
🥳 Did you know that one of the largest Juneteenth events in the area is starting on Saturday with the Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival in Bethesda? It’s a week long festival (peaks on the 19th) with loads of events.
📞 If you have a non-emergency neighborhood issue you’d like Howard County to fix, like a pot hole or road kill or something similar, use the Tell HoCo reporting tool.
Oh, and surprise! The last day of school (HCPSS) is next Wednesday - Happy Summer! 🤣
Let’s see what’s going on this weekend!

This is a reminder that the Maryland State Parks Day-Use Reservation System has now expanded to Greenbrier State Park in Boonsboro, Sandy Point State Park, Point Lookout State Park in Scotland, Newtowne Neck State Park in Leonardtown, and North Point State Park in Edgemere. You have to reserve online and can’t just drive up.
